Schneider Electric LADT2 TeSys D Time Delay Auxiliary Contact Block – 1NO + 1NC, 1–30s

Description

The Schneider Electric LADT2 TeSys D Time Delay Auxiliary Contact Block is designed to add time-delay functionality to compatible Schneider Electric contactors and control relays. It provides 1 normally open (NO) and 1 normally closed (NC) contact, allowing control circuits to introduce a controlled delay during contactor operation.

The LADT2 is an on-delay timer, with the commonly specified adjustable time range of 1 to 30 seconds. Schneider Electric also identifies the LADT2 family with selectable time-delay ranges including 0.3–3 seconds, 1–30 seconds, and 10–180 seconds, depending on the corresponding timer version/configuration. For this LADT2 reference, the Schneider product documentation identifies the 1–30 second on-delay range.

The module provides 1NO + 1NC time-delay contacts and is designed for front mounting on compatible TeSys contactors. Its screw-clamp terminals provide a secure and practical connection method for industrial control wiring.

The LADT2 is compatible with TeSys Deca CAD control relays, TeSys Deca LC1D contactors, and TeSys F LC1F contactors, making it useful for both new installations and retrofit applications.

With a rated operational voltage of up to 690V AC at 25–400Hz and a conventional free-air thermal current of 10A at 60°C, the Schneider LADT2 is suitable for a wide range of industrial control and signaling circuits. Its contact ratings include 6A at 120V AC-15 and 1.04A at 690V AC-15.

The LADT2 time delay auxiliary contact block is particularly useful where controlled sequencing is required, including motor starting circuits, pump control, conveyor systems, HVAC equipment, industrial automation, interlocking, and delayed switching applications.
